Mentor Coaching for Coaches and Facilitators

My mentor coaching is shaped by the varied individual, team, and group coaching experiences I have had, my many years of designing & facilitating group experiences, and my focus on shifting from outer objectives to deeper meaning and insights. While I do offer formal mentor coaching for those on an ICF credential path, I also offer design & facilitation coaching, and mentoring for practitioners of psychological type.

Mentor Coaching for ICF Coaches (Credential Application or Renewal)

Meentor coaching partnerships are offered for those applying for their ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential, seeking to renew their certification at the ACC level, or preparing to apply for their Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. The fee per session includes a detailed review of one submitted recorded coaching session and individualized feedback on that session, focusing on the ICF core competencies.

Our mentor coaching partnership will focus on developing and fine-tuning your skills as a coach or facilitator, honoring your unique style and strengths. As a mentor coach, I will support you as you identify competencies to focus on, and provide feedback on your strengths and growth areas. My mentor coaching sessions are all one-on-one to allow for a more personalized mentoring experience.

The International Coach Federation (ICF) requires those seeking certification or recertification to take part in 10 hours of a mentor coaching partnership.  ICF requires a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 of the those required mentor coaching hours to be individual sessions.

I am a registered ICF Mentor Coach, listed on the ICF Mentor Coach Registry, ensuring that the coaching I provide follows the ICF guidelines for mentor coaching. I have been a PCC level coach since 2009, and have recently taken the updated ICF credentialing exam to keep myself current on the credentialing process.

Design & Facilitation Coaching for Group Facilitators

Mentor coaching partnerships are open to all facilitators seeking to refresh or enhance their facilitation and/or design skills. I have been designing and facilitating group learning experiences for over 30 years, and bring this rich experience to my mentoring. My facilitation and design style is heavily influenced by my work in dialogue education, an approach that brings an intentional design that encourages engagement, safety and inclusion. I have been certified as a Certified Dialogue Education Teacher (CDET) with Global Learning Partners since 2002, and trained as an experiential educator for almost thirty years, cultivating an approach to facilitation and design that consistently creates meaningful opportunities for discovery.

Mentoring for Type Practitioners

advanced explorations in Jung's theory of psychological types

Jung's Theory of Psychological Types is both simple and complex. Many who work with this theory - whether through the lens of the MBTI® assessment or other applications, stay at a very basic level, never accessing the full value of this rich perspective on personality. My experience with Jung's theory is unique - having a PhD in Jungian & Archetypal studies, and being an experienced member of the MBTI® community (certified practitioner for 16 years, master practitioner for 12 years, and a member of the MBTI® certification faculty for 9 years). This mentoring opportunity is co-created, focusing on the aspects of psychological type most relevant for the individual. Possible topics include type dynamics, type & communication, type & decision-making, and more.
